Very hard choice between these two pictures. But in the end we picked the picture of Denis Bogomolov because we like how
nature is used compositionally to justify enjoyment of nudity.

| This one almost won but we preferred the drama of the first one. We liked the earthiness and concern with herself of this one over the 'appeal to heaven' of the first one, but the pose is 'between shots'. We bet there are better ones in this photo set. We hope the photographer enters other pix with this model and setting. |

More than the other photos this month, this one captures a woman
free, nude, happy and powerful. We actually preferred the 3rd photo
this month aesthetically, but #3 failed to connect the woman's
nudity with the real world. The model's white dress in the winning
photo connects her to the world, although it is not necessarily the
modern world. It's hard to tell if this photo is modern, or taken in
the 1960s. But we like the model's stength and lack of concern with
those watching her. She is her own woman in her own world. |
| We love these photos. It makes it look like we live in a world where women are not hung up on people's reactions to their bodies and where they can feel free, empowered and happy to be beautiful in a fun way, and as nude as they like. If this photographer had been able to achieve this feeling in one photo instead of 4, this photo would have won. | |
| Aesthetically, we like this photo - and it was the favourite of the viewers. We like the model's sense of inner strength and peace that does not depend on support from the world around her, but we find her happiness is 'cheating' because it does not exist in the real world, but in a fantasy airbrushed world instead. Whereas the happiness of the model in the winning photo does exist in the real world. It is images of female beauty integrated into the real, modern world that we are looking for and rewarding. We feel the first two photos do that. | |
| We liked this photo because it looks like a symbol of female beauty preparing to bring its life-giving healing power to a dead world. However, it didn't win because reality is more beautiful than a symbol. | |
| We liked this photo because it is very beautiful, in a classical way,
yet the lipstick makes it totally modern too. However, it doesn't
really follow our criteria for Super Beauty. It is not placed in the
world and the model doesn't look powerful or happy. So it didn't win. |

This photo more
than others shows a woman free, empowered, and happy. The style and technique place it squarely in the modern world and the ease and joyful spirit of the model tells us that this is a world where female beauty is accepted as natural and beautiful and where women are free to be everything they are and the path is open to be everything they want to be. |
| We like this photo for the same reasons as the winner. It didn't win because the model is not as happy and doesn't seem as free. Excellent entry. | |
| This photo reminds us of Helmut Newton's style. We love this image because it shows a powerful, beautiful woman in control of her world and her destiny. If she chose to walk down the street to the store completely nude who would stop her? It is modern and technically perfect, but it did not win because it shows a world where women must be brave and strong to fight for themselves, and for this contest we are looking for photos that show a world where women have already won. Very powerful photo. And maybe more inspirational than the others. It was a tough decision. | |
| We like this photo because it shows us that not every culture has a problem with public displays of the female body and we find this very heartwarming, and encouraging. However, it didn't win because it is a journalistic photo that doesn't show the woman's body, which reminds us of the rest of the world where women are still not respected very much. | |
| We like this photo because it shows
a pretty girl free to be nude and happy. It makes an attempt to uplift
the girl by posing her in front of some dramatic rocks and to connect
her to the modern world by including some building in the background,
but the rocks seem to be hiding the girl, more than uplifting her, and
they cut her off from the buildings in the background, and thus from the
modern world as well. Still, very enjoyable girl and photo. |

best a modern ideal of woman, free, empowered, and happy. The body decoration is a clever and possible way for a woman to be nude and clothed together. The woman is happy, and happy with herself, and the light from above gives an approval to her that does not come from us, but from the universe at large. The woman lives in her own world, and does not depend on our opinion or approval for her happiness |
| This photo almost won. It has all the
things the winning photo does except one: the model is more concerned with our opinion of her than with her own happiness. The model in the winning photo does not look to us for approval and happiness. |

| This photo is beautiful with a beautiful
model, however, it is not modern. The model is happy without our help which shows empowerment, but she is not nude, which implies she is not free. |

| This photo shows a free, happy woman
who does not need our approval. But she seems more like a girl than a woman. Very close to winning but her nudity is not integrated with real, modern life. There is nothing to say this is happening today, or that her nudity is acceptable to the world. |
