As light falls through the broken window The grayish cast invades the gloomy room Highlighting images of faint archaic glory Invoking memories both sweet and sorry Like dear past embraced by forlorn widow Reliving moments of her sole love’s bloom Observing from afar in awe and admiration For frisky beams igniting corners’ shades I stood out there and framed the perky sight: Painting in my mind with tumbling strokes of light; Shaping my thoughts, assembling my creation Hasting myself before the apparition fades The scene is set, remaining work is slight Like finishing big feast plate for a glutton Effortlessly the aperture I dial for my take Gliding focus ring for proper shot I’ll make The camera in hand, the timing is just right I squash my finger against the shutter button... .
