I'm curious why voting goes on during the entire time of submission? Why not have a two week submission period and then a seperate week of voting? |

I agree that when voting is allowed throughout the entire month of posting, then it becomes a race to get your photo in early. Same with www.soaphoto.com's contests. If you don't get your "winning" shot in the first day on the month, it can never catch up in votes to get to the top. |

Judging occurs after a certain submission period. Judges get invited to evaluate a certain topic or genre after all submissions are in for that topic. No problem if you are the last or first submitter, all images during that period get an equal chance to become a winner. _________________ Saper Vedere |
